I wrote my first book, Amazon bestseller Bricking It, in just 10 days because I had a brilliant system that mapped out the book before I started writing. Since its publication in 2017 being an author has opened many doors and is one of my top achievements for which I’m proud. Now I’ve got another two books I’d like to write.
If you’re just like me that already have a book in mind this episode is for you. Helen Pollock of Content Doc shares tips on what to do before you start writing and insights into what it takes to publish a book. Additionally, she ran us through her five-day challenge Get Unstuck Programme which helps you with these crucial first steps, starting with auditing your audience, profiling your reader, or in her words, the Reader Avatar Stage; book structure writing, to reader’s journey. At the end of this five-day programme you’ll have a complete skeleton of your book and be ready to write.
PLUS! If you’re up for the challenge Helen has a special offer exclusively for my listeners in the Author Accountability Facebook Group. It’s her free five-day programme. We kick off each day with a Facebook Live to se the challenge and then each evening Helen will jump on a call to answer your questions and see your progress. Do join us and let’s work together to get those books published.
